Does Wonu apply without asking me?
No. Wonu writes the message or fills in the agency’s form, then waits. Nothing is sent until you tap send, and you can read every word first.
Which cities and sites do you cover?
Homes across the Netherlands, through the websites of 120+ rental agencies, watched day and night. We keep adding agencies. Germany comes next.
How fast will I hear about a new home?
Right away. Wonu is always watching, and the moment a home that fits is listed, it’s in your app with a notification.
How is this different from RentSlam or Stekkies?
Alert services send you every new listing fast. Wonu also reads each listing for deal-breakers, writes your inquiry and keeps track of the replies, so you get fewer, better notifications and more viewings.
Why isn’t Wonu free?
Watching hundreds of sites around the clock and reading every listing in full costs money to run. A subscription means we work for you, not for agencies or advertisers.
What is a “lead”?
A home that fits but that Wonu can’t write to for you, for example because it’s only on a paid site or the agency wants a visit. We show it with clear steps so you don’t miss it.
Can I search for a room, social housing or with a pet?
Pets, yes: we read each listing for it. Rooms and student housing are coming. Social housing goes through your municipality’s waiting list, which Wonu doesn’t cover.
What happens to my documents and data?
They’re stored in the EU and only shared with an agency when you choose to send them. You can download or delete everything from your profile.
What if I find a home?
Congratulations. Pause or cancel in the app in one tap. There’s nothing to pay the agency on our behalf.
